Follow a trail of clues as you are taken on a riddling journey through the Port of Liverpool, across the city and back again, discovering moving monuments, mind-blowing sculptures and places of rock 'n' roll legend. The Port that Rocked explores the vibrant artistic, musical and cultural heritage that define Liverpool, revealing sides of the city seldom seen.
Expect to see: the remains of the Old Dock, a host of waterfront sculptures, the Queen Victoria Monument, the pub The Beatles played their first ever gig at, a testament to Dickens' love affair with the city and much more. Plus puzzles, challenges, great bars and cafes and plenty of surprises! This trail is ideal for those eager to delve into the city's cultural impact, past and present, perfect for locals and first time visitors alike.
How It Works
Your team will receive clues on your phones that, once deciphered, will guide you to interesting and scenic parts of the city. At each of these you will solve riddles, discover facts and unlock your next clue.The route is walking distance and features optional breaks at great pubs, bars and cafes along the way. The clues require no prior knowledge and come with hints to make the experience something everyone can enjoy.
