Description
Discover stunning arcades, grand old buildings and the best London market you've never heard of in this riddling trail around Mayfair. Best known as the most expensive square on the Monopoly board, this area is full to the brim with strange quirks and iconic pieces of London history from across the centuries. Which Victorian dandy used to have his boots washed with champagne? Which psychedelic rocker once lived next to the house of a world famous baroque-r? Which American president married his cousin? The answers to all this and more await your team in the Forbidden Fayre.
Along the way expect to see: the Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington Arcade, Savile Row, Mercato Mayfair, Brown Hart Gardens, Shepherd's Market, plus puzzles, pubs and plenty of surprises. Mayfair is a London gem hiding in plain sight, delve beneath its surface with this tour and prepare to be amazed by its many treasures!
How It Works
Your team will receive clues on your phones that, once deciphered, will guide you to interesting and scenic parts of the city.The route is walking distance and features optional breaks at great pubs, bars and cafes along the way.
