Description
For the first time ever CityDays are opening up one of their large-scale free-roam games to the public. Players will receive a digital map of London dotted with challenges that can only be solved on the day and from the city streets.
On Sunday 6th August 2023, teams will gather at Piccadilly Circus ready for a 2 hour race across the city. At 2pm, teams will set off en masse to complete as many challenges as possible and make it to the finish zone before time runs out. Here, grab a snack or drink and share your experience with competing teams. A mystery prize will be gifted to the team that tops the leaderboard.
Expect confounding riddles, bizarre architecture, historic sculptures, silly photo challenges and some of the city’s best and most surprising hidden gems. The game will be hosted on our app but will take place in the real-life streets, squares, parks and passageways.
Teams should be made up of 2-5 people, children can accompany adults free of charge. The game is fun for both locals and visitors alike. Hints are available to help with tricky clues but, beware, these come at a points cost. The champions will likely avoid them. Or maybe they won’t, savvy use could lead to a higher score…

Who are CityDays?
CityDays are trusted game designers who run acclaimed urban treasure hunts around the world. In combining the best parts of escape rooms and walking tours, they have created a unique way of exploring remarkable cities.

And now these city-wide experiences will be coming to the public. As with their previous hunts, teams will compete head-to-head to solve puzzles and challenges in the streets in an attempt to top the leaderboard. Except this time it’ll be happening in real-time and a mystery prize will be on offer for whoever wins the day.
What do you need to play?
Gather a team of friends or family, your smartphone and witty team name. After booking you'll enter your team info online, once you've download our app you're all set for your adventure.
What happens when you buy?
Once you've booked the tickets for your team you'll receive an order confirmation email and details to login to your dashboard on our website. Once logged in you can enter a team name and phone numbers, once submitted each phone will receive a text message with a link to the event page and a pin-code for the app.
