Description
Head back to the beginning of time with this riddle-filled deep dive into the legendary birthplace of GMT. This interactive tour of Greenwich takes you through grand palaces and royal parks to the scenic final harbour of a famous ship, immersing you in more tales from the past with every clue you untangle. Why would you bring a cow to a churchyard? How does a nightgown connect to maritime history? Why does a perfect timekeeping device face down at midday? It'll take guile to discover the secrets of Greenwich!
Along the way you'll see: the Old Royal Navy College, Queen's House, the Prime Meridian, the Royal Observatory, Greenwich Market and the Cutty Sark. All this plus puzzles, pubs and cafes, and plenty of surprises. This is the perfect trail for anyone looking to escape the urban sprawl and explore a grander side of London, one that once shot for the moon, aspiring to rival Versailles, but instead landed in the stars.
