Story
Description
A true-crime murder mystery game that unravels across the streets of York. The year is 1491, there has been a murder and the rumour mill is in full flow. Gather your team of detectives and get investigating. You'll need your wits about you to get to the bottom of this historic crime.
Follow a trail of clues from Clifford's Tower and around the city, visiting places related to this centuries old mystery. Do you have what it takes to catch the culprit?
Along the way see historic sights like: Tower Gardens, the city wall, Mansion House, Yorkminster, the Shambles and a tower of an unusual colour. All this plus puzzles, great cafes and pubs, and plenty of surprises. True crime enthusiasts and history lovers need look no further, this trail is tailor-made to give you your perfect day out exploring this legendary city.
How It Works
Your team will receive clues on your phones that, once deciphered, will guide you to interesting and scenic parts of the city. At these you will solve riddles, explore the story and make decisions that will impact the rest of the game.The route is walking distance and features optional breaks at great pubs, bars and cafes along the way. The clues require no prior knowledge and come with hints to make the experience something everyone can enjoy.
