Description

A playful experience to discover the secrets of Mayfair and how it gained it's world famous name. A mystery walk through the Mayfair district with clues to uncover along the way, similar to an escape room but outdoors!

Your team will receive clues on their phones that, once deciphered, will guide them around a route that showcases it's secret sights and great pubs/bars/cafes. The routes are all walking distance and clues get you working together and interacting with the city surroundings to find the answers, no prior knowledge required.

Which Victorian dandy used to have his boots washed with champagne? Which psychedelic rocker once lived next to the house of a world famous baroque-r? Which American president married his cousin? Find out all this and so much more as you unravel the secret history of Mayfair- more than just a monopoly square.

With recommended refreshment stops at top-rated pubs/cafes/bars that you can choose to indulge and refresh along the way. There are five stops available on this route;
- After clue 5; Mayfair's oldest unreconstructed pub built in the 1770s
- After clue 10; Classic London pub in a lovely tucked-away square
- After clue 12 (A must see!); An incredible community market, food stalls, bar, wine cellar and rooftop terrace - what more could you want!
- After clue 13; Peaceful cafe in a wonderfully kept raised garden.
- Finish location; historic pub, wine bar and eateries

Allow our puzzling clues to take you on a journey through fine palaces, grand arcades, charming passageways and hidden gardens. Along the way, encounter eccentric figures, head-scratching riddles, great cafes, historic pubs, a food and drink market in a Greek-revival church, a brewery in a crypt… the list goes on!

Monthly challenges are available for teams to submit pictures/videos of their experience to win cash prizes each month. Links sent in the welcome message and information available on our website.
