Going for Gold explores the vibrant mix of cultures that define Sydney's past and present, revealing sides of the city seldom seen. Along the way you'll visit beautiful parks, monuments to Scottish, Chinese and indigenous Australians, rest-stops in some of the best cafes and pubs the city has to offer, and of course a host of puzzles!
Expect to see: the Art Gallery of NSW, St Mary's Cathedral, the ANZAC Memorial, Capitol Square and much more. Plus puzzles, challenges, great bars and cafes and plenty of surprises! This trail is ideal for those eager to see the alternative charms of central Sydney, perfect for locals and first time visitors alike.
How It Works
Your team will receive clues on your phones that, once deciphered, will guide you to interesting and scenic parts of the city. At each of these you will solve riddles, discover facts and unlock your next clue. The route is walking distance and features optional breaks at great pubs, bars and cafes along the way. The clues require no prior knowledge and come with hints to make the experience something everyone can enjoy.
