Race Across The World: The Experience is an all-new live adventure coming to London this May, inspired by the hit BBC series. And we’re proud to say it’s been created by us, the CityDays team!

Race Across The World: The Experience is our latest venture that follows the huge success of Catch a Killer, Mystery Picnics and urban treasure and scavenger hunts all over the world.
So what’s different about this one?
Race Across The World: The Experience challenges players to navigate through a series of real-world checkpoints by solving riddles, cracking physical puzzles and making fast, strategic decisions against the clock.
We’ve designed it to be intriguing, challenging and unpredictable. And perhaps most importantly, it’s been built to bring people together.
Why We Made This Experience
At CityDays, our mission has always been to help people connect, both with the cities they live in or visit and with the people they explore them with.
Like us, the show celebrates travel, teamwork and seeing the world with a fresh perspective. This was our chance to bring that same spirit to the streets of London, encouraging people to discover the UK capital like never before.
How Race Across The World: The Experience Works
If you’ve played a CityDays experience before, you’ll recognise a few key ingredients:
- Clues and puzzles that interact with the city around you
- A journey that reveals the hidden sides of a city
- Top recommendations for local pubs, cafés and bars
- Clue delivery through WhatsApp to keep things seamless on the move
But the Race Across The World Experience also brings something new to the table.
We’ve taken everything we’ve learned from thousands of players across London, Manchester, Sydney, Toronto and beyond and raised the stakes. Expect a competitive edge, in-game budgeting, physical puzzles and some twists along the way.

Who is Race Across The World: The Experience For?
This experience is designed for everyone. It’s for friends, families, couples, groups, organisations, companies and everyone in between.
It’s also accessibility-friendly and can accommodate teams of 2-8 players.
If you wish to play as a bigger group, you can split into multiple teams and play head to head.

All you need to play is a mobile phone with internet access and WhatsApp installed, a minimum of 2 players and the experience lasts around 3 hours.

- Choose your team: Teams can be made up of 2 to 8 players.
- Pick your day: The experience will be available on 13 May 2025, with multiple time slots available daily.
- Book your tickets: Ticket prices vary depending on the time of day you wish to play.
